Documented Observation
The pre-treatment facial-hair record describes patchy cheek coverage, weak sideburn-to-beard connection and reduced visual coverage across the jawline. The recorded treatment field was the cheeks, jawline, chin and mustache. The recorded procedure used 2,100 grafts. At 12 months, the principal visual change is concentrated along the cheeks and jawline. The photographs document this patient's facial-hair distribution in the treated zones and should not be read as a measure of graft survival or as a scalp result. Because tight curl can increase the apparent coverage seen in two-dimensional photographs, the images are a visual record of this patient's result rather than a direct measure of density. This is the documented result of one patient and does not predict another patient's outcome.
