Clinical Reassessment
The case is reviewed by a Henesis physician.
Henesis Written Re-Treatment Guarantee
Henesis provides a written re-treatment assurance for eligible hair transplant cases. If the transplanted area demonstrates a clinically significant deficiency in transplanted-hair growth and the case qualifies under this policy, Henesis provides an approved corrective hair transplant without charging a new procedure fee, provided further transplantation is medically appropriate.
Policy definition
The Henesis Re-Treatment Guarantee is a commitment to reassess eligible cases where the transplanted hair has not developed as reasonably expected and, where corrective transplantation is medically appropriate and the policy conditions are met, to perform the corrective procedure without charging an additional surgical procedure fee.
The case is reviewed by a Henesis physician.
The cause of the result and suitability for further surgery are assessed.
If approved under the policy, corrective transplantation is performed without an additional operation fee.
Define “free” precisely
Free re-treatment means that Henesis does not charge an additional surgical procedure fee for the approved corrective operation.
Hotel, transfer and other travel services depend on the applicable package or written corrective-treatment arrangement and are not automatically included by this guarantee.
Clinical eligibility—not a percentage threshold
Re-treatment may be considered when follow-up indicates a clinically significant deficiency in transplanted-hair growth that cannot reasonably be explained by normal maturation, temporary shedding, progressive native-hair loss or another excluded cause.
Development before classification
Formal eligibility assessment begins only after 12 months have passed from the original procedure. Henesis may review progress photographs earlier—for example at 3, 6 or 9 months—but these reviews monitor development rather than determine treatment failure.
If the physician believes further maturation is needed, the final eligibility decision may be deferred, including to approximately month 16 or another clinically appropriate time.
Expectation is not the same as failure
Material causes are reviewed individually
Loss or poor growth attributable primarily to a medical condition, scalp disease, systemic disease, medication effect or other health-related factor unrelated to the surgical performance of the transplant.
Factors outside the clinic’s reasonable control may affect eligibility. Complications potentially related to the procedure itself require individual medical review and are not automatically excluded.
Significant scratching, picking or trauma; ignoring critical restrictions; prohibited products; non-disclosure of relevant medical information; or serious interruption of recommended follow-up may affect eligibility where the behaviour materially contributed to the outcome.
Minor deviations do not automatically void the policy. An accident, burn, scalp injury, later surgery, unrelated infection or another subsequent event that damages the transplanted area may fall outside the policy.
Safety remains the limit
A corrective procedure can only be performed when adequate donor capacity remains and further transplantation is medically appropriate.
Where further surgery would create disproportionate donor depletion or medical risk, Henesis may determine that re-operation is not clinically appropriate. Broader revision options and limitations are explained in the Hair Transplant Repair Guide.
The policy provides re-treatment where medically appropriate; it is not a cash-refund guarantee unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
A written review process
Provide the original patient details and procedure date.
Supply frontal, top, crown and donor views as requested.
A physician compares the treatment plan and follow-up development.
Medical changes, medicines or aftercare history may be requested where relevant.
Henesis provides the policy decision after sufficient assessment.
If approved, a current clinical plan and scheduling pathway are prepared.
Information proportionate to the claim
Henesis will request only information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
A new plan for the current condition
Henesis prepares a new treatment plan based on the current donor area and recipient needs. The approved corrective hair-transplant procedure is performed without a new surgical procedure fee.
The corrective procedure may not repeat the original technique, graft number or treatment design. The new plan follows the patient’s current clinical condition.
What the policy does not promise
No. It does not promise survival of every graft or a fixed graft-survival percentage. Corrective planning follows the observed result, remaining donor capacity and the area that can safely benefit.
No. Hair density and cosmetic appearance depend on donor capacity, hair calibre, curl, recipient-area size, native-hair progression and other individual factors.
A re-treatment guarantee request should normally be initiated within 24 months of the original procedure date. The request—not necessarily the corrective operation itself—must be opened within this period.
Requests first raised after 24 months are not automatically eligible. In exceptional circumstances, Henesis may consider a later request when the treating physician determines that there is a clinically justified reason and provides written approval.
This policy forms part of the guarantee terms only where it is incorporated into or referenced by the patient’s written treatment agreement. If Henesis provides a patient with more favorable written re-treatment terms, those written terms may apply to that patient.
Direct answers about coverage, eligibility, timing, travel costs, donor limits and refunds.
No. The policy does not promise survival of every graft or a fixed graft-survival percentage.
It covers clinical reassessment and, where the case qualifies and further transplantation is medically appropriate, the approved corrective procedure without a new surgical procedure fee.
Progress can be reviewed earlier, but formal eligibility assessment begins after month 12. The final decision may be deferred when further maturation is clinically appropriate.
The approved corrective surgical procedure has no new procedure fee. Travel and services outside the corrective procedure are not automatically covered.
Not automatically. Hotel, transfers and other travel services depend on the applicable package or separate written corrective-treatment arrangement.
Insufficient maturation, unrelated medical causes, material graft trauma or non-compliance, subsequent damaging events, unsuitable donor capacity or medical unsuitability for further surgery can affect eligibility.
Henesis may determine that re-operation is not clinically appropriate when adequate donor capacity does not remain or further extraction would create disproportionate depletion or risk.
No cash refund is provided under this policy unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
Yes. The Henesis Re-Treatment Guarantee applies to eligible scalp hair, beard and Afro-textured hair-transplant procedures. The same eligibility framework applies, while corrective planning is adapted to the donor and recipient characteristics of each case.
