Documented Observation
The pre-treatment facial-hair record describes sparse cheek coverage, low density along the upper cheek line and uneven facial-hair distribution across the lateral jawline. The recorded treatment field was the cheeks, jawline and mustache. The recorded procedure used 2,150 grafts. At 12 months, the principal visual change is concentrated along the cheeks and jawline. The photographs document this patient's facial-hair distribution in the treated zones and should not be read as a measure of graft survival or as a scalp result. Because tight curl can increase the apparent coverage seen in two-dimensional photographs, the images are a visual record of this patient's result rather than a direct measure of density. This is the documented result of one patient and does not predict another patient's outcome.
