Documented Observation
The pre-treatment facial-hair record describes sparse cheek coverage, an incomplete upper cheek line and uneven density across the jawline profile. The recorded treatment field was the cheeks, jawline, chin and submandibular area. The recorded procedure used 2,400 grafts. At 12 months, the principal visual change is concentrated along the cheeks and jawline. The photographs document this patient's facial-hair distribution in the treated zones and should not be read as a measure of graft survival or as a scalp result. Because tight curl can increase the apparent coverage seen in two-dimensional photographs, the images are a visual record of this patient's result rather than a direct measure of density. This is the documented result of one patient and does not predict another patient's outcome.
