Documented Observation
The pre-treatment facial-hair record describes patchy facial-hair growth, limited lower-jawline definition and reduced visual coverage across the cheeks. The recorded treatment field was the jawline, cheeks, chin and mustache. The recorded procedure used 3,000 grafts. At 12 months, the principal visual change is concentrated along the jawline and cheeks. The photographs document this patient's facial-hair distribution in the treated zones and should not be read as a measure of graft survival or as a scalp result. Because tight curl can increase the apparent coverage seen in two-dimensional photographs, the images are a visual record of this patient's result rather than a direct measure of density. This is the documented result of one patient and does not predict another patient's outcome.
